Dr. Jordie Schnarr
Having grown up in the Lower Mainland, Jordie is very happy to be practicing in Vancouver. From childhood, she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. After having worked with cattle, horses, marine mammals, and laboratory animals, she decided that her true passion was in caring for cats and dogs. She is an alumna of the University of British Columbia and the University of Saskatchewan, where she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. In her spare time, Jordie enjoys travel most of all, but also dabbles in weight lifting and learning more about winemaking. She is very excited to provide compassionate care for your loved ones.
Jordie has 4 pets at home: Addy, an energetic brindle rescue dog from Baja; Scout, a beautiful black senior cat from the streets of Saskatchewan; Bruce, a sassy senior Chihuahua; and Greg, a cuddly black and white kitty who was found inside an industrial air conditioner.
